Luke Littler relished his role as the pantomime villain as the Premier League Darts rolled into Leeds.

The 17-year-old sensation is clearly taken inspiration from his favourite team, Manchester United, after learning to accept the scrutiny that comes with being one of the biggest stars in the sport.

Taking to the stage at the First Direct Arena, Littler knew that he was in for a hostile reception given the intense rivalry between the Red Devils and the city's club, Leeds United.

Preparing for his walk-on ahead of his quarter final clash with Peter Wright, Littler could be seen cupping his ear in anticipation of the boos from the crowd.

Once they started, he could be seen mouthing "there we go", due to the inevitable nature of the stick he received.

While Littler was the villain of the piece in Leeds, Luke Humphries was very much the hero on his homecoming.

The Leeds-born star is a huge fan of Leeds United and teased the prospect of a new walk-on tune for his outing at the First Direct Arena, something that didn't disappoint.

Taking to the stage in a white and blue top in tribute to Leeds United, Humphries made his way to the stage to the sound of "I Predict A Riot" by the Kaiser Chiefs - a sure-fire hit with with the fans in Leeds given their own association with the Yorkshire city.

Both Littler and Humphries progressed into the semi-finals of Night 15 after beating Wright and Rob Cross respectively.

In the final four they prepared to face Michael van Gerwen and Michael Smith for a spot in the evening's final, however Littler was eliminated by van Gerwen by a score of 6-1.

In doing so he missed the chance to become the first player to claim five nightly wins in a single season since the introduction of the new format in 2022.

Humphries managed to see off Smith by a score of 6-1 to meet Van Gerwen in the final in front of his home fans.

Clearly written in the stars, Humphries recorded a 6-5 win over the Dutchman to claim the Night 15 crown in memorable fashion.
